My work centers around exploring emotions, human connections with each other and nature, and the strength one derives from overcoming personal battles and health challenges. During times of anxiety and exhaustion, I find comfort in the stillness of a blank canvas.

I create my artwork using a variety of media and materials, including acrylic and oil paint, oil pastels, found objects, paper, and cardboard. My art is built up in layers, with each layer representing a different aspect of the complex tapestry of emotions and experiences, such as resilience, hope, love, and friendship.

My paintings aim to transcend the mere portrayal of the physical world. They encourage the viewer to delve into the layers of color, texture, and movement to encounter the depth and complexity of their existence and their links with the world outside.

Eva is a self-taught artist who grew up in Bonn and Cologne, Germany, in a family that was highly interested in the arts. Initially, Eva started drawing and painting with watercolors until she discovered her love for oil paint, acrylic, and mixed media. Eva expresses her thoughts and feelings through her paintings, which are done in acrylic/mixed media and oils.

Her paintings offer a new, expansive, and compelling perspective that allows you to experience the universe in a unique way.
